| what you speak of is called Downloadable content or 'DLC'...
usually, after the release of the game, certain things can be made downloadable - activison and treyarch support this, however, nintendo does not allow this! - W@W was limited to only 8 maps - other consoles being able to buy map packs and the Nazi zombie modes...
DLC wouldnt contain new weapons, just maps and maybe addons...
what they can do on the wii is a 'Hotfix'... which repairs small imperfections and glitches in the programming - like elevator glitchs - and remove them...
its a shame we're not on the same level as the other console users in this respect.. maybe in the future? or later generations of the wii console?.. | |
